Commissions start with an idea, a design thought or often instigated with an old piece of heirloom jewellery which needs to be modernised and handed down again. What ever your catalyst is we start the process by a meeting either in person at my workshop or a zoom chat to bounce ideas around. I will then start to draw your piece of jewellery and email these back and forth to you until you are completely happy and buzzing with the design. At this stage I ask for 50% non refundable deposit.

The whole process is about 6-8 weeks and during this time I will be in contact with photos of the progress and if it is a ring/rings may ask you to pop in for a final fitting-especially Wedding rings- in case any ‘tweaking’ needs to be done. On completion I ask for the remaining balance.
On this page are examples of some of my previous commissions
Gold Wedding bands with internal engraving made for a lovely couple of lovebirds!
Large flat curb silver chain with handmade box ends. The client wanted to represent his daughters Birthstone so Amethyst stones where set in each end of clasp.
‘The Nigel Ring’ set with a magical Black Star Diopside, this was a commission but with owners approval and due to much public interest it is now available to buy in the shop with a choice of different coloured stones.
